"This set is awsome but I have seen better. (If you go on google and type in republic star dystroyer on pictures, there is this dude with thisstardystroyer much bigger then this like 3 times bigger. Its gun turrets were also big. It could fit , more people and the mini lego brickmaster At-te's and gunships."

"f.y.i. when i was reading the reviews, several things were unclear, so i will just make this clear for you, the ship DOES have an escape pod, it DOES have TWO senate commandos (great for my lego chess set) and it DOES NOT have any "bad guys" it DOES have secret death-star plans, and it IS a must buy.
when i finished building it, only one word came to mind "WHAZAM" some people complain that it is small, it is not. it does have super cool commandos, the bomb dropper works really well, perfect if you like to make lego movies, like i do. puttingpros and cons would be useless, as there are no cons, a must buy for anybody. overall it is an extremely well put together, and

"Yes, you've heard the complaints about price-to-lego ratio and, once built, this set is on the small side. However, it is an intense little set. It has tons of play features, and some awesome parts if you are looking for a parts-package - albeit high priced. The new minifigs are top notch, except that cartoonish Palpatine looks like Vincent Price from an old 1940s horror movie with a bad makeup job. But those guards, and Palpy's desk, are right up there with the chrome stormtrooper on the cool meter. Naturally, it will next to impossible to acquire any number of them. Once built, the ship has a lot of fun things to do - this set was built with the kiddies in mind. However, I got to looking the set and the instruction booklets and realized that this set has a lot of great places for modification. So before you turn your nose up at this one, just know that this set is a tabla rasa for modifying. Besides, you give up twinkies and chips for a month, and you got all the money you need right there for this great set."
