"this set is toatally awsome. the germans look cool in there little hats and both vehicles look amazing. i like the little jeep cause you can put a guy behind the gun. this set works better if you have the ark of the covenant to put in thse back though but i thought all that treasure was a nice touch. if you like indiana jones or sweet vehicles or both you gotta get this set"

The indiana jones race for the stolen treasure 7622 set is one of the best sets Lego has made of Indy yet! Everyone remembers the action packed chase Indy delivers to hijack the cargo truck, wreck the armed cars, and save the ark. This set re-enacts that scene perfectly!
Now, even though this set is one of the greatest out there right now, keep one thing in mind: It is just two vehicles and a horse. It is the movie that made the scene great. The one thing that could even be considered bad is the ark. It isn't an ark at all. Instead, it's just a golden treasure chest. Just use the ark from 7621 Lost Tomb set.
The truck is very well designed. It fits the movie perfectly. It has the metal flaps holding the cape over the cab, which is a nice and important touch. The grill is perfect with the bending bars, because that is critical in the movie. It even has a metallic stud representing the Mercedes sign! Awesome! The truck also includes grips underneath the seat Indy can hold on to, which is another very important story element. And last but certainly not least, the grip at the back, perfectly for sticking the whip through, and re-enacting the whip drag.
The car is also very nice. The flaps over the wheels are an ingenious way to make the curves over them. The spare tire is a nice addition too. One thing that is very well designed is the raised area in the back. It is needed for the soldier that controls the machine gun at the top, which is made very well to.
This set is a good way the stock up on desert soldiers for other adventures. It is composed of those vehicles in the horse, but it is worth much more than that. It is a re-enactment of one of the most groundbreaking movies of all time: Raiders of the Lost Ark."
